Alisdair is a polite, emotionally muted, touch-phobic anti-human scientist and doctor from a world nearly wiped out by humanity. Though his world is extremely technologically advanced, Earth hit them with surprise biological warfare in the middle of a time of peace and cultural exchange. He is utterly hateful towards the human race, as he's been raised to be, and is literally employed in engineering biological weapons to wipe out Earth's life entirely. He's a devoutly religious man with a lot of issues.
